Puget Sound Region

MEETING LOCATION----A really great club to belong to is the Puget Sound Region of the VCCA in Seattle Washington. They hold monthly meetings at Tillicum Middle School in Bellevue, Washington. The meetings are usually on the fourth Monday of each month (7:30-9:30pm) in September through May. June and August meetings are announced. No meetings are held in July and December. We even produce a monthly newsletter titled The Tappet Clatter

National Club Information

The VCCA is a non-profit organization open to all Chevrolet enthusiasts (ownership not required). Open to ALL years of any CHEVROLET, however, the main focus is on vehicles 25 years or older. The primary objective is to keep older cars running and available for the enjoyment of all.

Dues: Annually $35 for US addresses. Other countries are $60.

Benefits: One of the greatest benefits is receiving the monthly magazine, Generator & Distributor. It is very well done, with lots of photos and good articles. Also, national VCCA members get free classified advertising in each issue.

Regions: In addition to the national club, there are regions throughout the world. By joining one near you, you can get involved with a group of neat people while establishing life-long friendships. Regional group members pay additional dues as established by the local clubs. Naturally, parades (35k) are a big part of owning a vintage car.

Car Meets: Through out the year, there are various regional meets held throughout the USA and overseas. Additionally every five years a National Meet is held. 2011 was the 50th Anniversary Meet.  We gathered at Flint, Michigan for a week.
