John and Marilyn Campbell's 57

Special points of interest:

As many other club members, my first cars were Chevys, a 51 sedan when I turned 16, followed by a turquoise and white 57 hardtop.  I then bought a 57 all Inca Silver 57 hardtop.  I had many good times in those 57's going to school in Richland.  I got back into old cars when I inherited my grandmother's 50 coupe.
However, when I saw the white and silver 57 for sale in Richland while visiting, I had to buy it.  I soon replaced the 327, which went bad on a trip back from Richland. This started a restoration that is still in progress today.                                                   continued on page 9

September Program

September's meeting program: Meeting will be a BBQ/Potluck at Tillicum school.  Meet at 7:00 PM, a little earlier than normal.  The club will provide hotdogs, drinks, plates, silverware, napkins etc.  Please bring a salad dish, dessert, chips or snack.  We will have our short business portion of the meeting as we eat, but mostly this is just a social event.  Come and join us for some good talk and good eats.
