Call to Order:  Meeting was called to order by our co-director, Jerry Brownell.
Guest in Attendance:  Bob Hilton, who has been a past member, is now back in the area and working on restoring a 1953 Pick Up. He purchased the truck from a vintage window dealer in the Ballard area where it was used as a daily driver.
Past Activities: John Strampher's open house on Sat. Oct 2nd. Both sets of the Johnson's hosted a gathering of Chevy lovers from our region and from the Mt. Rainier and North Cascade region on Sept 26th.
General Business:  John Strampher reported renewals at 25-26. We are assuming a lot of our members have just forgotten as we usually average 65 by the end of the year. Sallie Comstock gave us a detailed run down on the books so far for the year and also where we stand on current expenses for the Northwest meet. The  nominating committee, consisting of Rod Schein, Jim Martoza and Dave Roberts listed off the offices and who they have running for office so far. There are still opportunities to volunteer for any office or help one of the candidates in their positions. The following nominees are:
   Director or Co Directors: Jerry Brownell and Bob Helgeson
   Asst. Director_________  This would be helping to find 7-8 meeting topics for the year.   
    Secretary: Jim Farris
   Treasurer:  Sallie Comstock
    Membership: Donna Onat
    Editors: Dave Haddock, but only if we find someone who will be willing to learn 
     and could him help out. Other wise we might have to discuss ways to condense
     the newsletter and /or move up the deadline date for submittals.
   Co-Activity Directors: Ana Maria & George Haley, Don Comstock and possibly 
     Frank Burlando. This team as always would still appreciate any help or ideas 
    from the general membership.       
    Club Store: Betty & Dave Roberts
    Historian: Will Borhouser and Don Boltz
    At this point we also want to "thank" those who have continued to volunteer their time doing the odd jobs that are not an official office, but are very appreciated positions none-the-less. They are Wally Martin for bringing and setting up the coffee & refreshment area at every meeting. Bill Barker for doing the technical part to keep the web site running. Also Dick Olson for being the lead organizer for the popular "Garage Night" events. Jim Farris for running the "Glove Box". 
Up Coming Club Activities: We are still looking for a volunteer to host the Christmas party on Dec. 5 or 12th. Then our annual Awards Banquet in January was discussed and we voted to go back to the Yankee Diner in Ballard.
Web Site: We are still looking for someone who would like to work on keeping our web site looking interesting and current. Bill Barker will continue to do the technical part of the job.
Club Store: This month the surprise bags with a Halloween theme were won by, Tommy Frankhouser, Bob Helgeson, Don Boltz, Dick Olson and Dick Jones. The 50/50 pot was won by Don Boltz.
Meeting Topic: Tonight's program was put together by Steve Grissom. It was a fun test to see how many pictures of Chevrolet hubcaps we could guess the year on. I believe John Strampher took the prize for getting the most correct, followed by several other winners who got to claim a white elephant prize. Thank you to Steve for doing all the prep work for this fun evening and to those that donated the prizes.
