General Membership Meeting Minutes - September 26, 2005

The combination September BBQ/Meeting was held at Jim & Gail Darby's home. Jerry opened the meeting by thanking the Darbys for their hospitality, and also Steve Grissom, BBQ chef. The video of photos from the NW Meet in August played to the admiration of all present, thanks to the talented efforts of Jim Sieber and Bob Helgeson. It provides a look at the memories, and a tribute to a well-planned and well-run event, of which we were all very proud.
Announcements. Bill Damm was thanked for his efforts with the most recent Garage Night. Jim Farris drove back from Utah immediately after arriving for a car event, not feeling well. He was hospitalized for another angiogram. Don Boltz is in Group Health Hospital, Redmond, having knee replacement surgery.
Treasury. Sallie was not present, so Jerry reported that the treasury was in good shape as of her report to the Board meeting last week.
Membership.  Donna Onat reported that it's time to renew memberships now, and that many have been coming in by mail. She made available copies of the renewal form.

After the war, production went to Willys; which eventually became Kaiser-Jeep, which was later acquired by American Motors and then all of that company taken over by Chrysler, which is now part of Diamler-Chrysler.   16.
