Puget  Sound  News bits
John Strampher had some minor surgery for sinus relief and has recovered nicely.
Don Boltz had some unwelcome guests in his home recently when some furry animals ate their way through a drainage pipe. Thankfully, that issue has been resolved.
Lee Folsom For the first time in 38 years Lee's name was not on the list of officers for 2008. He's earned his rest but you know he will always be there with the helpful helping hand when needed.
Al Howe started the '22 Dodge that was advertised in the TC this year. The car is in Spokane and he stopped off there on his return trip from the Four Cylinder Tour in Belgrade MT.
Dan Johnson won a weeks trip with all expenses paid to Orlando Florida. They are going to drive to Key West while in that State.
Diane and Dave Haddock will be spending the holidays with their two daughters in Chicago and Ann Arbor.

People All Over The World Read The Tappet Clatter

Hi Jim,   This is a quick note to say how much I enjoy reading your monthly newsletter. My family and I lived in Issaquah for a couple years in the late 90's and have very fond memories of the Puget Sound area, and is always interesting to read about your runs to various spots that we may have visited while there. Your web based format is very easy to read and navigate, and a credit to your members.
I brought back a souvenir with a Mustang badge but I won't mention the "F" word here, but in the last few years have thoroughly enjoyed getting more involved in the vintage car community. I currently have a '29 Chev. Sports Roadster. My daughter has been in Lake Louise (went to work a ski season and has not come back yet after a couple years) and we are hoping to visit her and some of our very good friends in Puget Sound area next year. I noticed from your web site the details for your North West meet, so would be great if we could coordinate to be there at that time.    Keep up the good work.

BTW - if you are interested there is some info on my Chev plus photos of our recent National Vintage and Veteran Rally that was held in Western Australia a couple weeks ago at http://members.iinet.net.au/~bleane/RallyWest/RallyWest-home.htm
