Hello all,
I want to express thanks to Dick Olson and Bill Barker for sharing their experiences with '31 and '32 restoration bits and pieces. Dick did a superb job on his '31 and is making huge progress on the '32 he is currently restoring. Bill mentioned that his '31 Landau is being painted. One main tip that they shared was to take lots of photos before you disassemble your Chevy.
Sorry I missed Al Howe's Rhodie Gardens Tour, however, Roberta and I are ready to work at the Monroe Swap Meet during May 16, 17 and 18. This is a fun event to participate in and is an enormous fund-raiser for our club. Thanks Ana Maria Haley for coordinating the volunteers for our region again this year.
Remember that our May meeting is early because of the Memorial Day holiday. Lee Wilcox, VCCA Pacific Northwest Area 3 Board Member will be joining us to share what's happening on a National level. Also, Ken Scott will possibly be coming to present some important information regarding judging. He will be the Head Judge at the 2008 NW Meet and he will help us understand points judging, HPOCF, CDPC, and the Personalized Class.
We should be receiving the prospectus for the 2008 North West Meet soon. I will keep all of you posted when I know they are available.
