Portland Swap Meet - April 1996

The 1996 Portland Swapmeet was held in Portland, Oregon under the usual gray and cloudy skies. Friday had everyone scrambling while it dumped at least 50 inches of rain on us. (At least that's how much I poured out of my shoes.) But for some unexplained reason, the sun came out for most of Saturday and Sunday. Go figure.

(Question: Guess what I bought at the meet? But Momma don't know yet. Thanks for the storage space Neil!!)

((Update 11/96: Yep, you guessed it. I bought a gas pump just like the one pictured, except mine isn't restored. A couple of weeks after the swap meet, I let my better-half know that I bought it (right after she was involved in a minor fender-bender in her car). Funny thing is, she was very receptive to me bringing it home then. Now I just need to figure out how to get it in the house after it's restored....ha!))
