Footnote: The Snoqualmie Falls have been producing electrical power since approximately 1897. The same equipment is still in place. It provides power for approximately 17,000 homes each year. The Power Plant is closed to the public due to it's hazardous layout. We were very fortunate to have this rare opportunity to tour. By the way, the water was farily low at this time of year. In the winter time, the top of the falls covers ALL of the rocks in the early photos!!
